For businesses that need to be found

There was a time you needed a printing press and a fortune

Ask William Randolph Hearst. A newspaper gives you a readership that is already sympathetic, already interested, and already yours — and at a moment when every business is asking how to get AI to notice them, a newspaper turns out to be a very good answer.

Why a paper, and not a newsletter

A newsletter reaches the people you already have. A paper is found by the people you do not.

A permanent address

Every issue sits at its own URL on your own domain, properly titled and structured as news — so search engines index it and language models can read it. A PDF cannot do this. Nor can a print run.

Trust you cannot buy

Readers of a paper are a sympathetic audience in a way an advertising list never is. They came to read, not to be sold to — which is exactly why they can be.

Written from what arrived

The week has already been gathered, ranked and filed, so composing starts from real material rather than a blank page. The hard part was done on Monday.

Where the AI stops

Nothing goes out under your name that you did not agree to.

The tedious parts go away. The judgement stays with you. We will not write a claim we cannot show you the source for — and the software physically refuses to print one.

Every sentence keeps the document it came from, archived, so it survives the original site deleting the page.

A story, and what stands behind it

Repair volumes held through August while retail softened, with three assay offices reporting hallmarking down between four and six per cent on the same period last year.1

Refused: a second sentence claiming a national trend was dropped, because the words quoted to support it were not in any source we hold.
